Xbox Update for February

Xbox gamers, a new Xbox console update is now available to download and install for the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

However, don’t expect much from it, as it primarily aims to improve general console performance.

New Xbox Console Update for April 28 is All About Stability

Here’s what today’s update does, per Xbox:

  • General stability and performance improvements.
Yeah, not much to be excited for, though unsurprising, considering that the Xbox did get a major update earlier this month. As a refresher, here’s what that update brought:

New Update Features:

Stream your own game

If you have an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, you can stream select games that you own in addition to the Game Pass library. This feature is available for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles.

To get started streaming:

  1. Go to My games & apps > Full library > Owned games.

  2. Use the filter to sort by Cloud gaming.

  3. Choose a game that you want to stream, and then select Play with cloud gaming.

Free up space in your library

There are now more ways to improve the storage space on your Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S.

Your library displays new info about unused content, shrinkable games, duplicate items, and games that players no longer have access to.

To manage this storage feature, go to My games & apps > Manage > Free up space.

Hopefully, if anyone had issues with the last update, this one will improve things.
