Following the removal of the NICKMERCS skin bundle from Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone, Activision has removed yet another streamer’s skin from the games. TimTheTatman asked Call of Duty makers to pull his skin from the game in support of his friend and colleague, NICKMERCS.
This started on June 7 when FaZe co-owner NICKMERCS replied to Puckett, who quote-tweeted a footage from LGBTQIA+ protestors being attacked by conservatives outside of a school board meeting. Puckett advocated for the protestors stating that Americans are in a “sad place right now” and said, “let people love who they love and live your own life.” NICKMERCS replied to Puckett’s tweet by saying “They should leave little children alone. That’s the real issue.” You can read more about that here.
NICKMERCS’ statement stirred up controversy, leading to Activision removing his skin from Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone. Timthetatman took to Twitter and announced his support for NICKMERCS, calling it “wrong” for having his skin while the NICKMERCS skin has been pulled out. Find the full tweet below:

Activision responded to this by honoring Tim’s request and removed TimTheTatman operator bundle from the Modern Warfare 2 and the Warzone store. Find the full acknowledgement by an Activision spokesperson:

I think the people who accused him of homophobia were deliberately ignoring the point of his message.
I doubt very much he has a problem with the ‘LGB’. Few people do.
In his tweet he specifically mentions children and I think it’s pretty obvious he was referring to the ‘T’. There’s a huge split in various communities about the right age to start conversion therapy and, of course, male bodies in female sports/exclusive spaces.
Removing his skin for simply saying out loud what the, statistically proven, majority (and several major medical institutions) believes was wrong.
LGBTQIA+ were NOT attacked by conservatives you bunch of liars. As usual, horrible so-called reporting/writing by biased people. Report the facts instead of pushing your political BS. That is not what happened at all!! It’s people like you that are the real problem, spreading hate and false narratives.
