Activision Sending Content Creators Call of Duty Vanguard Teasers

Call of Duty Vanguard

Following the official Call of Duty Twitter account’s acknowledgement of the leaks and whatnot surrounding Call of Duty Vanguard, it seems the hype train is now starting to roll its way out, as Activision has started to reach out to content creators about this year’s Call of Duty!

Here are some of the YouTubers/content creators who have shared that they got something in their DMs (Direct Message) titled “Wester Front”:

Interestingly enough, our own Jimmy Lara noticed the Task Force 141 emblem in the short clip.

For those unaware, here’s what the Callof Duty fandom page has to say about the One-Four-One:

Task Force 141, colloquially referred to as “The One-Four-One,” is a multinational special operations unit composed of members of British, Australian, United States, Canadian and possibly other foreign personnel, usually those with previous Special Ops experience. Its members serve as the principal protagonists of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, in which their main objective is to apprehend or eliminate Vladimir Makarov, a Russian Ultranationalist responsible for masterminding a Russian invasion of the United States. In 2016, its members participated in notable special operations in Kazakhstan, Moscow, Rio de Janeiro, a Gulag and a submarine base in the Kamchatka Peninsula, the Georgian-Russian border, and Afghanistan.

Mind, Task Force 141 is usually associated with Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare series. That said, we wouldn’t be surprised if they’re part of COD: Vanguard given it is part of the Call of Duty universe.
