AEW: Fight Forever Includes a “Vegetarian Mode”

AEW Fight Forever Vegetarian Mode

After years of outrage, protest, and boycotting, the gaming industry is finally listening to the dietary needs and phobias of gamers, as developers Yuke’s has included a “vegetarian mode” in their soon-to-be released wrestling game, AEW Fight Forever. As the great Macho Man Randy Savage once said, slap into a carrot stick! That’s what he said, right?

Obviously I know the line, and obviously the statement of outrage, protest, and boycotting over meat in gaming isn’t true (least to my knowledge,) but what is true is that AEW Fight Forever does indeed have a “vegetarian” mode, which swaps out all the meat shown during the campaign for vegetables instead.

Not the first video game to do this mind you as many have done this before, including Cooking With Mama. Still though, the option is a rather funny one as it’s not one you would expect to see from a wrestling game. We suppose, given the general tone of AEW Fight Forever and leaning heavily into the humor side of things, it does make sense to have a bit of fun with some of these options.

It’s too bad they didn’t include an arachnophobia mode, as we know one WWE superstar, R-Truth, isn’t going to like the idea of possibly seeing a spider on top of a ladder.

AEW Fight Forever launches tomorrow, June 29, on Playstation, Xbox, PC, and the Nintendo Switch Stay tuned to our review hitting the site soon.
