Apex Legends Adds First Trans Legend “Catalyst” in Eclipse Update, Out November 1

EA and Respawn have announced the next Apex Legends new legend in “Catalyst,”  who will also be the game’s first trans character! She will be introduced in the game’s next major title update called “Eclipse.” 

Set to drop this November 1, the new legend will be a defensive-oriented character with what Respawn says has “almost magical control over ferrofluid.” Check out the trailer featuring Catalyst in the latest Stories From the Outlands video feature:

Look into the crystals and discover Catalyst’s past in the first trailer for Apex Legends: Eclipse. As a teenager on Boreas, Catalyst and her coven of friends vowed to protect Cleo, the moon of Boreas, but what happened next left her wanting answers that the crystals did not have.
