Apex Legends Shockwave New Stuff and Gameplay Trailer Revealed

Next week on August 6, Respawn will bring the new season of Apex Legends and with it, new modes and more! Curious what’ll be in it? Check out the gameplay trailer showcasing what’s new, and a quick list.

Apex Legends Shockwave – What’s New:

• Free Revivals – Stay in the games with Unlimited Revivals until the end of Round 4. As long as one squadmate is alive, players and their squad will always be recharged with revivals.

• New Map: E-District – Raising the voltage brings E-District, the newest close-quarters map built for verticality and instant, continuous action. A neon playground where anything can happen.

• Battle Sense – Players will feel their power surge with visible Enemy Health Bars and Highlights – just don’t lose line of sight.

• Straight Shot Revival & Bot Royale – Dropping hot with some updates – players will always have another straight shot starting early on in Shockwave. Additionally, the new Bot Royale mode will be available starting August 6 and lets players get real combat experience while sending bots to the scrapyard either solo or with a premade squad.

• New Weapon Meta: Akimbo – With both guns blazing, players can dual-wield P2020s and Mozambiques to galvanize the battlefield and automatically double up on firepower.

While we are not getting a new legend, there are at least new weapons to wield, right? Of course, the big news here is that the planned Battle Pass changes aren’t pushing through after the community made it very clear they are not on board with it.
