Apex Legends Update 1.000.025

Apex Legends update 1.000.025 has been released by Respawn Entertainment on all platforms, and this is a small download. This seems to fix the Heirloom glitch, which you can read about in the Apex Legends new update patch notes,

Apex Legends Update 1.000.025 Patch Notes:

Size: 320MB (PlayStation), 66MB (PC)

Update: Respawn has released the official patch notes for today’s title update!

Unfortunately, Respawn hasn’t issued patch notes just yet, though we’re hoping that this includes a fix for the freezing issue players on PC have been experiencing.

What we do know that got fixed is the Heirloom glitch, as confirmed on the game’s subreddit!

The latest patch fixed the heirloom glitch. No more free heirloom for my broke ass ig :< from apexlegends

Read on for the acknowledged issues the studio is looking into via the official Trello board:

INVESTIGATING:

  • Reports of players not receiving coins after purchase.
  • [PC] Reports of game freezing.

FIX COMING IN FUTURE PATCH:

  • Game crashes if player unplugs an audio device.

Workaround: Players should connect all desired audio devices, then launch Apex to avoid these issues.

  • Players have no audio if a headset is plugged in while the game is already running.
  • Banner incorrectly displaying players in “Rookie” Rank when they are not.
  • Players at certain ranks not receiving the correct ranked rewards for certain seasons.

Once Respawn releases the official patch notes, we’ll update the article accordingly.
