Respawn Entertainment has released Apex Legends update 1.000.049, and this is after the other day’s patch roll out for fixes. This patch should bring in another fix to the game, which you can read about in the Apex Legends new update patch notes for October 4.

Update: As expected, Respawn has confirmed that the patch is to fix the stats crash glitch.

As a final update, the above issue should now be resolved for all players. You can now progress your Weapon Mastery and view the stats pages as normal.

While Respawn Entertainment hasn’t disclosed what this patch does yet, it should fix the crashing issue connected to player stats.

As an update on the above, stats pages remain bugged, however we have pushed out a fix for players who are stuck crashing due to weapon mastery level ups. This required weapon mastery to be disabled.

The team is still working on a full fix for the above and getting weapon mastery back online. In the meantime, we advise against going to any player stats-related screens as it will cause your game to crash.
