Apex Legends Update 2.38 for November 1 Rolled Out

Apex Legends Update 2.38

Respawn Entertainment has released Apex Legends update 2.38 on all platforms this November 1, and this is following yesterday’s Ignite patch roll out. Given that we just got the massive patch yesterday, don’t expect anything new here outside of fixes.

Apex Legends Update 2.38 Patch Notes for November 1:

Respawn hasn’t released what got changed/fixed in today’s patch just yet, though we’re hoping that will change within the day. In the meantime, here’s what the devs are working on via the official Apex Legends Trello board.

INVESTIGATING:

  • [DX11] Nvidia Reflex is greyed out
  • [Xbox] Game crashing due to console language being unsupported
  • Bullet tracer VFX appears offset when strafing
  • Damage radius of Energy Barricade is slightly larger than indicated by VFX
  • Playing at 165+ FPS may cause stuttering during some gameplay scenarios
  • Legends may rotate when exiting a Trident
  • Crashes referencing FS_CheckAsyncRequest when loading into a map

FIX IN PROGRESS:

  • EAC error with Steam Deck/Linux
  • [Conduit] “Matulog ka na lang” quip incorrect
  • Button prompts may not appear on summary/death screen, including report button – but buttons still work!
  • [AMD] Occasional visual artifacts with Legends and Weapons on DX12/RHI
