ARC Raiders Players Who Have Been Targeted by Cheaters, Won’t Lose Their Loot
Cheaters are an inevitable part of online gaming. Regardless of whether it’s a PvP (Player vs. Player) or PvE (Player vs. Environment) game, cheaters will find a way to ruin the fun for everyone.
While Embark Studios isn’t promising that cheaters won’t be a pest in ARC Raiders, the studio has managed to find a way to make the experience much more tolerable compared to other online games.
ARC Raiders Makes It Less Annoying to Deal With Cheaters
In ARC Raiders, players who encounter cheaters, exploiters and so on, will get a refund of their items in their inventory.
The message they’ll receive will read (via ARC Radar), “Your items were lost due to unfair play, but we managed to get them back for you! They’re now available for you to claim and take with you on your next journey Topside. We’re committed to building an environment where gameplay is about skill, teamwork, and fun, not unfair advantages. Thank you for being part of this mission! Together, we’re building ARC Raiders into a fair and fun experience for everyone.”
While this won’t deter cheaters at all, this should make the experience a lot better for those victimized by ’em. Once identified, Embark can then ban these users so they don’t harm anyone else.
This is another win for ARC Raiders, which we’re glad to see. Not only are the developers quick to release patches to fix issues, but even in terms of new content, there are already a sizable chunk confirmed to drop before 2025 ends.
