Following the feature-rich patch for Assassin’s Creed Shadows released earlier this month, Ubisoft has confirmed that more updates are on the way, including not just fixes but new features and content.
While the main content drop is the new premium expansion, there’s also a lot of free stuff on the way. A new content drop called “Story Drops” dives into the backstory of some of the game’s other characters.

Ubisoft said they plan to drop these free updates regularly, and what’s more, there are surprises planned as well. Could one of these surprise be a new multiplayer mode? If the recent datamine from the game is correct, Ubisoft plans to add a PvP mode into the game, which would be something we wouldn’t expect.
There’s no date for when the “early May” patch will drop, but once it’s live, expect it here on MP1st.
