Asus just announced a bunch of new laptops during CES 2023, and though they’re pricey, they also feature some impressive specs, particularly when it comes to their GPUs. All of the new laptops announced by Asus will include a GeForce RTX 4000 series GPU, ranging from the RTX 4060 all the way up to the powerhouse that is the RTX 4090. This will give access to Nvidia’s brand-new DLSS 3 technology if they buy one of the new laptops. There are new additions to Asus ROG’s three laptop lines in Strix, Zephyrus, and their new Flow series.
A notable mention in the Strix series is the Strix Scar, which is getting a new model with two versions of the laptop. You can get the Strix Scar with a 16-inch or 18-inch display depending on how big you want your laptop (and laptop screen) to be. It runs with an RTX 4090 and is marketed toward gamers who want peak performance in their competitive games.
The all-new Zephyrus M16 will have a 16-inch display and also come with an RTX 4090 GPU. As the Zephyrus line is catered towards those who want to game and be productive on the same device, it features a more minimal design that you can take anywhere with you. It also contains a full-width heatsink and ROG’s Intelligent Cooling system.
There’s also the new Flow line, with the Flow X16 and Flow Z13 offering more flexible laptops with a focus on portability. They feature RTX 4070 and RTX 4060 GPUs, respectively, with ROG intelligent cooling for optimal performance. You can also hook up these laptops to a ROG XG Mobile for even more horsepower if you need the boost for gaming.
Alongside other gaming hardware in keyboards, routers, and displays, Asus revealed quite a bit of modern gaming tech during CES 2023, and gamers will have plenty of new toys to play with when they release.
