Battlefield 2042 Update 1.57 for Patch 8.0.0 Deployed This July 23

DICE has released Battlefield 2042 update 1.57 (PS5 version will show up as 1.000.060), and this is a minor update that removes stuff rather than adding anything new. It does bring in adjustments to the XFAD-4 Draugr which is detailed below in the official patch notes.

The primary focus of this update is to return Battlefield 2042 to its main theme within the game’s menus as we transition away from Season 7 visuals.

Update #8.0.0 will have no downtime for this update, though you may need to restart your game to benefit from the changes.

• Increased first-person perspective free look sensitivity of XFAD-4 Draugr to be consistent with other comparable aircraft (Jets).

Yep, that’s about it for this patch. That said, while nothing new has been added, and DICE has confirmed Season 7 is the last seasonal content drop for the shooter, players can still expect new events, Vault Drops and patches to be part of the support.
