While a ton of Battlefield 2025 info has made its way out of the second playtest session, DICE is already to start the next Battlefield Labs playtest this week (session 3) and we now know exactly when.

Not only that, but DICE has also shared the playtest session 2 stats, what they’re aiming for, and even a reminder to the participants.

Battlefield Labs Playtest Session 3 Starts on April 4

In a message on the Battlefield Labs Discord channel (shared by members of the community), DICE outlined some of the key stats they noticed on the second session of the playtest.

  • Road accidents account for 33% of all car kills, making them an important method of elimination.
  • Vehicle-to-vehicle combat was noticeable, with 17% of all vehicle destructions caused by other vehicles.
  • IFVs made a significant contribution, accounting for 7.7% of the total kills during this session.
  • The RPG dominated as a countermeasure, achieving a remarkable 61.3% kill rate against the CV90 and Bradley.
  • The Repair Tool was a surprise choice, accounting for 0.3% (4 kills!) of all IFV kills.

As for the BF Labs playtest session 3, it’s set to kick off on April 4, 19:00 to 21:00 CEST/16:00 to 18:00 PST. Check your emails in case you got in this time around. DICE states for the third session that they’ll continue to focus on “combat tempo,” “time to kill,” and “time to die.”

Alongside the schedule announcement, DICE also issued a reminder to the NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) signed by the participants.  The message reads, “As we close this review, we want to remind you that the NDA you agreed to actively applies to Battlefield Labs. Recent violations, including email, information, and gameplay sharing, have resulted in multiple account suspensions, as well as permanent removals from all aspects of Battlefield Labs, and subsequent follow-up with our legal team against violators. We will continue to enforce these rules and respond appropriately to violations in all future tests.”

One of the things leaked in the session 2 test was the existence of a battle royale mode, which isn’t confirmed for the game yet, though it seems likely it’ll be part of it come launch.
