Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War update 1.037 has been released by Treyarch this June 22 on both last-gen and current-platforms, and this is to beef up the game’s security more than anything else. Read on for what’s new in the official patch notes for the new Black Ops Cold War update.

While there are no actual patch notes for today’s title update, Treyarch has announced that this patch is to help mitigate the IP exploit that surfaced for the game recently.
A security update has been released on all platforms. Additional updates are in progress.

We are not expecting any front-facing changes in today’s patch. It could also be connected to today’s announcement by Activision on how the first Warzone will be closing its servers come Sept. 21, as some of Blac Ops Cold War’s cosmetics can be used in that game.
