Black Ops Cold War Update 1.38 Sneaks Out This June 22

Black Ops Cold War Update 1.38

Treyarch has deployed Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War update 1.38 on all platforms, and this is another unannounced title update, though one that’s quite a download. Read up on everything new in the BOCW June 22 patch notes.

Black Ops Cold War Update 1.38 Patch Notes | BOCW June 22 Patch Notes:

Size: 6GB (Battle.net)

While there are no actual patch notes for today’s title update, Treyarch has announced that this patch is to help mitigate the IP exploit that surfaced for the game recently.

We are not expecting any front-facing changes in today’s patch. It could also be connected to today’s announcement by Activision on how the first Warzone will be closing its servers come Sept. 21, as some of Black Ops Cold War’s cosmetics can be used in that game.

We are on the lookout, and if anything else gets announced for today’s patch, we’ll update the article to reflect it.
