Borderlands 3 Update Today September 23 Patch Notes

Gearbox Software has released the Borderlands 3 update today September 23, and it includes some fixes, which include one for Freddie and regarding a mission that was bugged! Note that this is a server-side update, so no download is required, as players will automatically apply it once they connect to the game’s servers.

Here’s what the studio announced as the fix for today’s update:

This was a bug that could occasionally occur if the player had completed Homestead Pt 2, but not Homestead Pt 3 before starting the Handsome Jackpot DLC. It would show Freddie as a mission giver for Pt 3. This updates that to remove the mission from him.

Today’s changes to Borderlands 3 adjust Freddie to correctly offer the Homestead Pt 3 mission in DLC1. Maurice’s Black Market will also change locations. These changes will be live on all platforms by 12:00 PM PT.

This was a bug that could occasionally occur if the player had completed Homestead Pt 2, but not Homestead Pt 3 before starting the Handsome Jackpot DLC. It would show Freddie as a mission giver for Pt 3. This updates that to remove the mission from him.
