Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout PC Stuttering & Frame Rate Drop Fix Detailed, Treyarch Seeking Feedback

black ops 4 blackout pc stuttering fix

If you’re taking part in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout PC open beta (if you aren’t, why??), then you might have encountered a few frame rate drops, stuttering and the like. Fortunately, the Black Ops 4 Blackout stuttering fix seems to be an easy one.

Before you read on, note that this isn’t an end all, be all fix, and there is a chance this won’t work for everyone’s stuttering/frame rate drop problems, but given how it worked for some people, and how easy it is to do, it’s definitely worth a shot.

On Reddit, SpecterTheGamer posted a rather simple Black Ops 4 stuttering fix, which can be read below.

Hello people,
I’ve had some struggles with the stuttering in this game, probably because of my outdated CPU(i5 3570k), but i’ve found an easy fix some of you may not be aware of, and it’s easy.
-First of all open your task manager(CTRL+ALC+CANC)
-Go on the “details” tab
-Right click on the BO4 process and change its priority to whatever you like, just not on Low, which was the preset for me.
I personally put it on real time, haven’t had stuttering or fps drop ever since.
Hope this can be helpful to some of you guys 🙂

Again, this might not work for some people, but it’s worth a shot given it worked for some.
