With Treyarch rolling out frequent Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 game setting updates, the studio also juggles not only the featured modes, but also the playlists available in multiplayer. Unfortunately, with the latest hotfix, the available Black Ops 4 mercenary playlists (read: no parties allowed) have been taken out.

Over on the Black Ops 4 subreddit, user 0ptimal_ created a post complaning that there should always be a mercenary playlist available given not everyone has a party they play with. Thankfully, the official Treyarch account responded

Those who play Black Ops 4 with no parties, sit tight! Given Treyarch’s frequent playlist and mode changes, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a new Black Ops 4 mercenary playlist crop up before the week’s out.

New playlist or not, let’s hope that max exploits like this one in Arsenal are plugged up soon.
