It looks like Colossal Order needs more time to cook Cities Skylines 2, as the studio has announced that the console versions of the game are getting pushed to 2024! The Cities Skylines 2 PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions have no firm release date yet, but is set to launch in “Spring 2024.”
The press release confirms that the PC version will still launch in its original schedule on October 24, 2023. The delay will give the dev team additional time to “align the quality and performance across all platforms.”

Why do you raise the minimum/recommended specs?
- Cities: Skylines II is a next-generation title and therefore has certain hardware requirements. The recommended specs were set when the game was still in development. After having done extensive testing with different hardware we made the decision to update the minimum/recommended specs for a better player experience.
