Call of Duty: WWII Social Score Top Tier Will Get Your Gamertag “Verified”

One of the new additions to the Call of Duty franchise developer Sledgehammer Games has made is the introduction of the “Social Score” in Call of Duty: WWII. Players earned Social Score by “commending” other players, or getting commendations themselves from their peers.

Unfortunately, given Headquarters still isn’t working as intended, the chances of people getting a ton of Social Score is a slim one. Those curious what rewards await them when they get a lot of Social Score, wonder no more! Over on Twitter, Sledgehammer Games boss Michael Condrey revealed that the higher the Social Score, the better the rewards, and “top tier” gets your gamertag/PSN ID “verified.”

Correction: Social Score does not affect your Supply Drop loot. Social score is tier based, the higher the tier the better the rewards you earn, incl some heroic weapon variant rewards. Top tier gets your GT “verified”.

It’s currently unknown what the magic Social Score number is to get a “verified” status in COD: WWII, nor what it looks like in-game.

In other COD: WWII news, go check out the some leaked gameplay footage of the upcoming weapons and modes. And if you’re super conscious of your Social Score, don’t forget that you can hire a “pro player” to play the game for you.
