Funcom has released Conan Exiles update 1.96 on all platforms this September 28, and this is for an Age of War Chapter 2 hotfix! Expect exploit fixes, balance changes and more. Read on for the new Conan Exiles update patch notes.
Conan Exiles Update 1.96 Patch Notes | Conan Exiles Age of War Chapter 2 Hotfix for September 28 Patch Notes:
- Fixed a bug which caused performance issues whenever approaching or logging in near a base
- Added additional checks to prevent certain crafting to be done without the proper materials
- War Torn Rubble can no longer be stacked
- When the surface below it is removed, placed treasure now drops down instead of being destroyed (note: dropped treasure still gets destroyed)
- Thralls set to guard doors now return to their post after vanquishing interlopers
- Old copies of Heritance have been reset to match its current design
- Fixed an issue where rarely a new challenge would not appear after claiming a completed one
- Fixed an issue which could prevent a character from fighting back if they were attacked while performing certain emotes
- Players can now access the game menu while controlling an avatar
- Purchasing unlock of multiple Battle Pass levels now properly refreshes the display

Couldn’t use food or potion buffs since the big update a few days ago. Hope this fixes that issue too
This fix just made me loose Horticulture Mod and an axe I got from the Witch Queen. Not sure what else.
Hope they fixed the traders at the spire being replaced by normal exiles. Sucks to have all these ancient coins and can’t buy my weapons.
They did not. Granted I’m on a PvE server
My game froze near 06 temple and I can’t log back in seriously devs you need to make sure a patch works before you release it
It froze there yesterday too near 06 temple before the update today but yesterday I was able to at least log back in after today’s update it happened again and I can’t log back in at all. And I’m probably gonna die cause I’m outside and when I did get in I was under the map and it logs me back out. Why are you rushing updates we don’t need the game was working fine before this new chapter update and this new update today killed me with a freeze and I literally can’t play anymore this is absurd you just put out patches you don’t test first and I lose items I can’t replace its not like I can got to the vendor and get new tools and weapons anymore cause that’s broke too
I got out of it after server reset thankfully after one day of testing the new hotfix this is unfit for release I’ve never seen the game in such and unplayable state Devs you need to revert it back till a proper fix is made and tested first before you just release patches I’m not trying to complain I’m trying to help you out because that was completely absurd what happened to me last night this is a bug from 5 years ago freeze and infinite loading bug you must know what I’m talking about?
Hello, when are you planning to fix the loading of the solo servers has nothing that ive earned or purchased as well I can’t even access the battle pass that I have paid for im very displeased with this ive paid over 200.00 for this game and so far you haven’t seemed to resolve any issues that come with it I feel as like others that have done the same should be reimbursed for your unresolved issues with conan exiles.
