Control 2 Reaches Production Readiness Stage and Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake Enter Full Production
Aside from the upcoming Alan Wake 2 DLC, Remedy Entertainment seems to be making a lot of headway into its other projects, asthe studio has provided updates on the development of Control 2, the Max Payne 1 & 2 remake, and Project Condor.
In their latest quarterly financial report, Remedy confirmed that Control 2 has entered the “production readiness stage.” The game has already showcased several important features in playable form, indicating substantial progress.
Meanwhile, the Max Payne 1 & 2 remake has moved beyond the “production readiness stage” and is now in the full production stage. Remedy focuses on creating an early functional state of the game, ensuring key gameplay features stand out. Therefore, this development marks a crucial step forward for fans eagerly awaiting the return of these iconic action titles.
Additionally, Project Condor, Remedy’s multiplayer spin-off, has entered full production as well. The development team has worked on multiple maps and mission types, and internal and limited external playtesting is underway to gather feedback and validate features.
Overall, with these projects in various stages of development, it’s clear that Remedy Entertainment is fully committed to delivering high-quality experiences for its fans. Although the timelines for these games suggest they are still a few years away, but the progress is promising. As for Alan Wake 2, the last expansion for the game, The Lake House, is expected to launch in October.
