Big Ant Studios has released the second Cricket 22 patch this January 14, and it’s for more bug fixes! The Cricket 22 update 1.18 (PS5 version 1.000.018) patch is live on all platforms, and is for a specific fix. PC players should have already gotten the fix in this yesterday.

Here’s the announcement from the studio:

Small hotfix for #Cricket22 will roll out over the next few hours. Build numbers as follows:
Xbox One 1650, Series X 1659
PS4 EU 1652, US 1654
PS5 1657
Steam 1651 (already live yesterday)

This is a cosmetic issue with Academy PlayFace only, no need to re-download players.

In case you didn’t know, a patch was released a few hours ago, which was version 1.17. To save you a click, here are the changes in that title update:

  • Added ability add Custom Stadiums to Tours
  • Added auto bowling to custom difficulty
  • Improved running between wickets
  • Balanced straight drive shots
  • Balanced aggressive drive shots
  • Reduced chance of overthrows when batters in crease
  • Rectified Big Wheel statistics
  • Rectified Trophies/Achievements issues
  • Improved stability when downloading Academy Teams and Players
  • Improved general stability

PS5 only:

  • Rectified issue with some Custom Stadiums in Career Mode
