At gamescom Opening Night Live, CD Projekt RED not only revealed a new trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 for its upcoming Phantom Liberty DLC, but the studio also revealed some of the stuff incoming to Update 2.0 (for all base game owners), as well as the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty new features!

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty New Features:

Here’s some of the new content and features incoming with Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty (added with more info via the press release provided by CDPR):

• New District – Phantom Liberty introduces a densely packed new location, Dogtown
• Dozens of new story quests and gigs
• Vehicle combat and mounted weaponry
• Revamped Police system – Police AI has been improved, meaning the NCPD will respond to player actions in more realistic and engaging ways, including setting up roadblocks, attempting to ram players off the road and more.
• Combat AI overhaul – Combat will be improved, making fights more dynamic and intuitive.
• Endless dynamic events and missions
• Redesigned Cyberware and perks
• All-new Relic skill tree and abilities – The new skill tree offers a wide range of powerful abilities that allow players to master new playstyles and create unique, meaningful builds
• Increased level cap
• 100+ new items – Weapons, Cyberware and Fashion

For base game owners, the redesigned skill trees, overhauled police system and vehicle combat will be part of the free Update 2.0 patch coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC base game owners the same day Cyberpunk 2077’s Phantom Liberty DLC will be available on September 26, 2023.
