Dead by Daylight Developer Update for August 2022 Reveals New Changes to the Game

Dead by Daylight Update 2.82

Behaviour Interactive has just released a Dead by Daylight Developer Update for the month of August 2022. The developer update reveals that the studio is now ready to move on to fine-tune the balance after launching their biggest patch last month.

Dead by Daylight Developer Update for August 2022:

The Dead by Daylight Developer Update reveals that Thanatophobia is getting a rework and will now provide a 1/1.5/2% action speed penalty.  Thanatophobia will grant all survivors an additional 12% penalty to their speed if they are all either dying, injured, or hooked.

Mettle of Man will also be activated by taking 2 protection hits. This will grant the Endurance status effect and the player’s aura will be revealed to the killer when they are further than 12/14/16m away.

Other changes include that the Pain Resonance’s generator interruption will also be restored and the Merciless Storm will no longer combo with Pain Resonance. The clown will be available to play once again in 6.1.2 and the Orange Glyphs will be temporarily swapped out.

Dead by Daylight is now available for purchase on the PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, iOS and Android devices, and PC via Steam.
