The Dead by Daylight and Resident Evil collaboration is getting a sequel with the upcoming chapter, Project W which features two new Survivors and a new Killer belonging to the Resident Evil franchise. Project W is named after Albert Wesker, who is also the Killer in the upcoming chapters, and the two Survivors include Ada Wong and Rebecca Chambers.

This Chapter features a new Killer – Albert Wesker, The Mastermind – and 2 new Survivors, Ada Wong and Rebecca Chambers. The Raccoon City Police Department Map has also been reworked.

Wesker is known as The Mastermind in Project W and is armed with superhuman strength. He also has this desire to eliminate the weak, so he created a powerful virus weapon: Uroboros. There is no new map coming with this chapter, however Dead by Daylight is reviving the old Raccoon City Police Department map that was initially released with the first collaboration and making some changes to it. The changes are that the Raccoon City Police Department will be split into two separate maps, that are built around the West and East wings. This will result in a considerable reduction in size. The Main Hall will remain a consistent presence on both maps, retaining its original layout.

Dead by Daylight is available to purchase for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Google Stadia. The release date for Resident Evil: Project W is unknown but the developers say it’s coming “soon.” You can read more about the upcoming Project W here.
