In the final teaser for the upcoming Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania DLC released today, Motion Twin has revealed that players will be able to assume the role of the legendary Richter Belmont in a secret level buried in Dracula’s castle. Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania’s “Richter Mode” features Richter’s moveset from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and even lets players break candles with his whip to collect hearts.

Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania is a massive new expansion by Motion Twin and Evil Empire for the former’s 2018 “roguevania” title Dead Cells. The DLC takes players back to the roots of the genre in the Castlevania universe, with the Beheaded now seeking to take on Dracula himself. From the developers:
