This is a free version which allows use of many game modes, including online matches. However, only a limited number of playable characters is available, and the Story mode will be locked. The remaining characters and the Story mode can be purchased separately as downloadable content.
The initial set of free fighters are Kasumi, Hitomi, Diego, and Bass. Don’t forget, these four will be swapped out after a certain time period, so get in, learn their moves as much as you can.
Of course, if you’d rather try everything the game has to offer, you can buy the full version of the game either digitally or at your preferred retailer.
