Dead Space Remake Pre-Orders Now Live and Confirms $70 Price Tag; Different Editions Revealed

dead space remake launch trailer

EA has not only shown us our first official look at some Dead Space remake gameplay today, but the publisher has also kicked off pre-orders for the game today too! With that in mind, it seems that the game being out just for current-gen (PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC) means the game is a tad more expensive.

On the game’s official store pages on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Store, the game is listed at $69.99 for the vanilla version. For those who are members of EA Play, you’ll get a discount of 10% which will mark down the price to $62.99. For those who have more money to burn, you can also get the Digital Deluxe edition for $79.99, which will include the base game, three unique suits for Isaac, and two suit textures.

With our recent report on the Dead Space store listing “in-app” purchases, it looks like it’s true, and this will tie in to Isaac’s suit.

If the Deluxe edition still isn’t a big enough score for you, Limited Run Games has announced the Dead Space Collector’s Edition, which includes a real-life headgear! Priced at $274.99, the Collector’s Edition includes the following:

DEAD SPACE COLLECTOR’S EDITION INCLUDES:

  • Physical Copy of Dead Space for PlayStation 5/Xbox Series X|S/PC
  • Dead Space Collector’s Box
  • Isaac Helmet
    • Full-size wearable helmet with working lights
  • Dead Space CD Soundtrack
  • Lithograph Print
  • Foil Stamped Lithograph Folio
  • Four Mini Posters
  • Ishimura Patch
  • Marker Enamel Pin
  • Metal 4″ Marker Statue
  • Dead Space SteelBook

If you’re a hardcore Dead Space fan, that helmet might be a big enough draw to plunk down that much cash.

In other Dead Space news, EA and Motive has also revealed the gameplay improvements players can expect from the game come launch.

Dead Space will be released on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC this January 27, 2023.

Wow eum. No? And how disgusting. EA will close Visceral Studios but then sell their game again for MORE than when it first came out. Absolutely insane.
