If you’re scratching your head and anticipating how to go through the upcoming action-adventure shooter Deathloop, don’t worry about it —  As developer Arkane Studios and publisher Bethesda Softworks have released a new video called Deathloop Explained that shows players how to break the time loop featured in the game.

Deathloop is a next-gen first person shooter from Arkane Lyon, the award-winning studio behind Dishonored. In Deathloop, two rival assassins are trapped in a mysterious timeloop on the island of Blackreef, doomed to repeat the same day for eternity. As Colt, the only chance for escape is to end the cycle by assassinating eight key targets before the day resets. Learn from each cycle – try new paths, gather intel, and find new weapons and abilities. Do whatever it takes to break the loop.

If you missed our last feature about Deathloop, a new gameplay trailer was released that features a new original song made for the game.

Deathloop will be shooting its way to PS5 and PC on May 21, bringing a very different kind of shooter to the next generation.
