Following the error codes “Baboon,” “Weasel” and Loganberry” surfacing for Destiny 2 players, Bungie has taken the Destiny 2 servers down for emergency maintenance this June 25, and this affects all platforms.

Update: Bungie announced that they are bringing the game servers back up for continued investigation of the issues.


Here’s Bungie’s announcement about the server outage:

We are continuing to actively investigate issues causing an increase in various error codes and server stability.

As part of the investigation, we will be bringing Destiny 2 offline shortly for maintenance. Stand by for updates.

Destiny 2 is being brought offline for emergency maintenance as we investigate an increase in various errors codes and server stability.

Another update will be provided within 1 hour.

We’ll be updating the article as more info becomes available. Hopefully, the downtime won’t take that long, but given today’s server issues, don’t be surprised if it takes a few hours. Once Bungie releases new info, we’ll update the article.
