While Bungie has already announced that there would be Destiny 2 server maintenance this March 8, don’t be surprised if Destiny 2 down reports are flooding in, as not only has Bungie gone past the maintenance period, but the servers are now currently taken offline as well due to emergency maintenance!

Before this, the studio announced that maintenance was extended for an hour but no additional downtime was expected.
Destiny 2 maintenance has been extended by one hour. Expected completion is now 10:30 AM PST. No additional downtime is expected. Please stay tuned for updates.

The original maintenance period was scheduled for 8:45 a.m. PT, and was set to conclude at 9:30 a.m. PT.
Destiny 2 maintenance has begun.
Players will be removed from activities at 8:45 AM (1645 UTC) and be unable to log in until 9 AM (1700 UTC). Maintenance is scheduled to conclude at 9:30 AM PST (1730 UTC).
