Destiny 2 Down for Maintenance This March 29. Here’s the Schedule

Trying to log in to Destiny 2 but can’t? It’s not you, but Bungie has triggered Destiny 2 down this March 29 and it’s planned maintenance! During this downtime, also expect hotfix 4.0.0.5 to be released as well. Read on for the full schedule.

Below is information on upcoming server maintenance periods or updates to a Destiny release:

Monday, March 28, 2022

10:00 AM PDT	1700 UTC	Destiny 2 background maintenance is scheduled to begin. No downtime is expected. This will prepare us for Hotfix 4.0.0.5 releasing on March 29. Players who observe issues should report to the #Help forum.
2:00 PM PDT	2100 UTC	Destiny 2 background maintenance is expected to conclude. Players who observe issues should report to the #Help forum.

9:00 AM PDT	1600 UTC	Destiny 2 will undergo maintenance. Some Destiny API features on Bungie.net, mobile and third-party apps will be disabled. Players who observe issues should report to the #Help forum.
9:45 AM PDT	1645 UTC	Destiny 2 will be brought offline for expected maintenance. Players will be removed from activities and won’t be able to log back in until 10 AM PDT. Ongoing Destiny maintenance is expected to conclude at 11 AM PDT.
10:00 AM PDT	1700 UTC	Hotfix 4.0.0.5 will be available across all platforms and regions. Players will be able to log back into Destiny 2. Sign-in to the Bungie.net site and apps will be re-enabled. Players logging into the game may be placed in a queue and may experience sign-on issues as background maintenance is still ongoing.
11:00 AM PDT	1800 UTC	Destiny 2 maintenance is expected to conclude. Players who observe issues should report to the #Help forum.

Same as with every other maintenance, don’t be surprised if this is extended beyond the alloted time. If it does get extended, we’ll update the post. If you want to check out when hotfix 4.0.0.5 is out, check our Destiny 2 game hub regularly since we’ll be posting it the moment it’s up.
