Destiny 2 Servers Down for Maintenance This December 1 (Update)

Destiny 2 Update 3.22

Bungie has once again taken the Destiny 2 servers down this December 1, which is the second time this has happened this week! This is for maintenance once more, and we have the full schedule available below.

Update #3: Bungie has acknowledged that there are issues with matchmaking currently, and are investigating.

Update #2: Bungie has announced that maintenance has been extended:

Update: Bungie has announced that the servers are being brought down for emergency maintenance!!

We’ll update the post again if anything changes regarding the timing.

Thursday, December 1, 2022
7:00 AM PST -8 UTC
    • Destiny 1 and 2 will undergo maintenance.
    • Sign-on and game integration features will be unavailable on web, mobile, 3rd-party apps, and the Bungie Store.
    • Players who observe issues should report to the #Help forum
8:00 AM PST -8 UTC
    • Destiny 1 and 2 will be brought offline for expected maintenance.
    • Players will be removed from activities and won’t be able to log back in until 10 AM PST.
    • Ongoing Destiny maintenance is expected to conclude at 2 PM PST.
10:00 AM PST -8 UTC
    • Players will be able to log back into Destiny 1 and 2.
    • Players logging into the game may be placed in a queue and may experience sign-on issues as background maintenance is still ongoing.
2:00 PM PST -8 UTC
    • Destiny 1 and 2 maintenance is expected to conclude.
    • Players who observe issues should report to the #Help forum.

It doesn’t look like a patch or hotfix will be rolled out today, but if that changes, or if the schedule changes for the downtime, we’ll be sure to update the article accordingly.
