Destiny 2 Servers Down for Maintenance This December 1 (Update)

Bungie has once again taken the Destiny 2 servers down this December 1, which is the second time this has happened this week! This is for maintenance once more, and we have the full schedule available below.

Destiny 2 Servers Down Status and Updates for December 1:

Update #3: Bungie has acknowledged that there are issues with matchmaking currently, and are investigating.

We're investigating issues preventing players from matchmaking with other players in Destiny 2. Please standby for updates.

Update #2: Bungie has announced that maintenance has been extended:

DESTINY 1 AND 2 MAINTENANCE

Downtime has been extended and Destiny 2 integration features on web, mobile, and 3rd party apps have been disabled. Stand by for updates.

Update: Bungie has announced that the servers are being brought down for emergency maintenance!!

Destiny 2 is being brought offline for emergency maintenance. Stand by for updates.

7:00 AM PST	-8 UTC	Destiny 1 and 2 will undergo maintenance. Sign-on and game integration features will be unavailable on web, mobile, 3rd-party apps, and the Bungie Store. Players who observe issues should report to the #Help forum
8:00 AM PST	-8 UTC	Destiny 1 and 2 will be brought offline for expected maintenance. Players will be removed from activities and won’t be able to log back in until 10 AM PST. Ongoing Destiny maintenance is expected to conclude at 2 PM PST.
10:00 AM PST	-8 UTC	Players will be able to log back into Destiny 1 and 2. Players logging into the game may be placed in a queue and may experience sign-on issues as background maintenance is still ongoing.
2:00 PM PST	-8 UTC	Destiny 1 and 2 maintenance is expected to conclude. Players who observe issues should report to the #Help forum.

It doesn’t look like a patch or hotfix will be rolled out today, but if that changes, or if the schedule changes for the downtime, we’ll be sure to update the article accordingly.
