Diablo 4 Battle Pass Will Take Players Around 80 Hours to Complete

Diablo 4 Battle Pass

With Diablo 4 confirmed to feature a seasonal model when it comes to post-launch content, it seems those who pick up the Diablo 4 Battle Pass will get more than their money’s worth, as it’ll take quite some time to complete.

In an interview with PC Gamer,  Associate Game Director Joe Piepiora provided insights into the expected length of time it would take to complete each season’s Battle Pass, and it’ll take even longer than some AAA RPGs.

Right now, the battle pass, when you’re figuring in completing the season journey alongside doing other content in the game, you’re looking at roughly 80 hours worth of time invested to complete the entirety of the battle pass. To level a character to level 100 could take a little longer than that based on how you play.

The interview also shed light on how the battle pass system will function. Each season will begin with a fresh seasonal character at level 1, and progressing through season-specific objectives will advance the character’s level up to 100, unlocking rewards along the way.

Similar to many live-service games, Diablo 4 will offer a free track for all players and a premium paid track with cosmetic rewards. Piepiora assured that players who do not wish to engage in the endgame seasonal grind can skip it entirely and return for story updates without feeling left behind.

This is definitely good news for Diablo 4 players who are looking to purchase a Battle Pass. Let’s hope it’s not too grindy in how we progress from each track.

Diablo 4 will launch on June 6 on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. You can read our thoughts on the game’s beta right here.
