Diablo 4 Collector’s Box Contents Revealed at $96.66, Doesn’t Include Actual Game

Diablo 4 Collectors Box

A recent developer livestream by Blizzard Entertainment showcased the Collector’s Box for their upcoming game, Diablo 4. The Diablo 4 Collector’s Box contains various physical goodies that fans of the franchise may want to nab and display at home. However, if you want to play the actual game, that might be an issue.

The biggest thing worth mentioning about the Collector’s Box is that the box doesn’t actually come with a copy of the game itself. According to Adam Fletcher, community lead for the Diablo franchise, the reason they decided not to include a copy of the game was to give players “more flexibility” with their purchasing decisions.

“You can actually end up getting a standard version of the game and a Collector’s Box if you prefer, or you can get the Ultimate version of the game and the Collector’s Box, so you can kind of mix and match depending on exactly what you specifically want,” Adam clarifies on stream.

Even if the Collector’s Box doesn’t have Diablo 4 itself, there’s still a lot you can get from it. A dense art book filled with various illustrations of the game will be worth a browse, and there’s even a cloth map that outlines the areas you’ll be exploring in Diablo 4. You also get a mousepad, fine art prints, a Pin of the Horadrim, and some candles, all for $96.66.

If you’re interested in getting your hands on the Diablo 4 Collector’s Box, it’s currently available for pre-order on the Blizzard Gear store. The devs also shared a bit more on Diablo 4’s newest crafting feature, Codex of Power, during the livestream, and you can read about it here

You can check out the full contents of the box as well as a close-up display of each item in the livestream’s VOD.

Diablo 4 is set to release on June 6, 2023 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
