For those unable to enter the realm of Sanctuary, it’s not just you, as multiple Diablo 4 down reports have surfaced this June 25 (June 24 for those in PDT), with the dreaded “Unable to find a valid license for Diablo IV” issue (error code 315306) rearing its ugly head again.

Update 4: Blizzard has said that it is actively monitoring the DDoS attack the game is suffering from which is affecting latency and connections.

Update 3: A new in-game message confirms the servers are currently experiencing a DDoS attack with error code 73 popping up on the screen (console users) when attempting to log in, followed by a disconnect from the servers.
“We are currently experiencing a DDos attack, which may result in high latency and disconnections for some players. We are actively working to mitigate this issue.”
Update 2: Blizzard has said they are currently their authentication servers and this could result in issues logging in

The Diablo 4 Downdetector page has also seen an uptick in reports in the last hour too.
For now, the official Blizzard Entertainment customer service Twitter account hasn’t acknowledged the outage just yet, and there’s no mention of it in the forums, either.
Once there’s more info regarding the outage, we’ll update the article to reflect the latest developments. If you can connect, leave a comment below and state what platform you’re playing on and where you’re connecting from.
In the meantime, go check out the last two hotfixes released the past two days, as both hotfix 12 and hotfix 13 included class fixes/tweaks.

Blizzard is being hacked with a Ddos attack. I’m shocked people are getting so upset. It’s not their fault. This happens all the time in many games.

It happen one other time in Beta and you can hardly call it fair counting that. Ddos attack means blizzard is being attacked. They arnt don’t anything to your experience. The hackers are.
On the one hand I completely understand. On the other, this is a massive company that, for years, has neglected their server stability. Hell, when not under a DDOS attack there is still stuttering and rubber-banding. I have zero remorse for the company getting sh*t on for this. Server stability and network security should be priority on a game launch.
I don’t blame them for the ddos, but I do think companies opting for these online only games is something they need to stop doing so that when this kind of thing happens people still have an offline option. That’s where the real blame should be in my opinion

Seriously. This started about 8 hours ago for me last night so I ended up going to sleep then wake up today and it’s still not working.. I scanned and repaired last night and it didn’t work and now I’m reinstalling the game but who knows if that’ll work. -_-

Every Sunday since launch I have had an issue with blizzard games. What in the actual fuck? 20 years since wow and they still cant get their fkn shit together. Had I not paid so damn much for this game I may have just abandoned blizz games altogether. They have fallen quite far from grace. I’m with the guys below. I love the game but if they’d give me a refund I would walk smooth tf off from all their games.

Ddos Attacks are not Blizzards fault and sadly they have to fight it till they find the way they are being hacked. Don’t like it… we need better internet safety laws. Not accuse blizzard for something being done to them and us.

If you were actually telling the truth about your “S+ cert and years of sysadmin experience.” You’d be well aware that nothing is safe for long when it comes to stuff like this. It is a constant battle that is always being lost and won over and over again. There is no perfect system that can keep stuff like this from happening. Eventually people get in.
