Diablo 4 Open Beta PC Requirements Revealed; Raytracing Support to Arrive Post-Launch

As Diablo 4 inches its way to the recently announced beta weekends this March, players can now estimate how well their PC will run the game thanks to newly revealed information on Diablo 4’s Open Beta PC requirements. The game is also confirmed to support raytracing but it will come post-launch.

Here’s the full list of PC requirements, both minimum and recommended:

Minimum Requirements for PC
Settings to run the Diablo IV Open Beta at 1080p native resolution/720p render solution, low graphics settings, 30 fps.

  • Operating System: 64-bit Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD FX-8100
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon R9 280
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: SSD with 45 GB available space
  • Internet: Broadband Connection

Recommended Specifications for PC
Settings to run the Diablo IV Beta at 1080p resolution, medium graphics settings, 60 fps.

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-4670K or AMD R3-1300X
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon RX 370
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: SSD with 45 GB available space
  • Internet: Broadband Connection

Raytracing will also be supported post-launch. The devs mentioned it in passing during today’s Diablo 4 beta livestream, so we don’t have an exact timeline for the feature’s inclusion in Diablo 4, but at least we now have confirmation that it’ll be added somewhere down the road. Diablo 4 launches on June 6 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The Open Beta weekends will run from March 17 to 19 and March 24 to 26.
