Diablo 4 Update 1.40 Rolled Out This March 14

Diablo 4 Update 1.40

Blizzard Entertainment has released Diablo 4 update 1.40 (PS5 update version 1.040), and this is an unannounced title update, and follows the big 1.3.4 patch released a few days ago. With that in mind, don’t expect a huge changelog from this since we did just get a signifiant update this week.

Diablo 4 Update 1.40 Patch Notes for March 14:

PS5 Update Version 1.040 | Game Version 1.3.4a

BUG FIXES

  • Fixed an issue where leaderboard data wouldn’t update properly.
  • Fixed an issue where incorrect data could show when looking at leaderboard entry for player on the friend list.
  • Fixed an issue where the Gauntlet could be teleported out of via the map.
  • Various performance and stability improvements.

Yep, that’s about it. While the patch might be a small one, there’s a lot more in store for the game, as Blizzard also announced that a new Campfire Chat is set to air this March 20.

“Get your first glimpse at sweeping changes coming to Diablo IV. On March 20, at 11 a.m. PDT, join community director Adam Fletcher, associate game designer Charles Dunn, lead live class designer Adam Jackson, and associate game director Joe Piepiora as they detail the massive itemization changes coming to Season 4. We’ll discuss how Affixes, item stats, the Codex of Power, and new in-game systems will change the way you slay and loot across both Seasonal and Eternal Realms. Additionally, there’ll be much more to share in the Campfire Chat for your first look at Season 4!”

Stay tuned to the Campfire Chat info here on MP1st once it’s out.
