Gameloft has deployed Disney Dreamlight Valley update 1.86 (PS5 update version 1.860), which should fix a known bug regarding the glitchy pixel duplicate issue. Read on for what’s new this December 20 down below.

• Crafting while using the Glitchy Pixel Duplicate causes materials to disappear

Description

The team has been made aware of an issue which occurs when crafting an item while using the Glitchy Pixel Duplicate to replace missing ingredients. While the Duplicate will function as intended, all extra stores of the other materials used in the recipe – including Dreamlight – disappear.

We are actively looking into this issue and exploring options for how it could be resolved. In the meantime, we have temporarily paused spawns of the shards used to make this item.

Workaround

For the time being, we ask that players NOT use Glitchy Pixel Duplicates while crafting. In order to best avoid accidentally using these items, we recommend players to drop any that they have (including any that are currently in storage) on the floor of their home. This way, they cannot be used from the inventory or storage in crafting.

If there are any changes that surface regarding the patch outside of the bug fix, we’ll update the article.
