This week saw Techland launch the first-ever premium DLC for Dying Light 2 called “Bloody Ties.” While it’s set to be available today via a title update released this week, things haven’t exactly gone according to plan, as Dying Light 2 Bloody Ties DLC launch issues have surfaced, preventing gamers from downloading the expansion.

 Thankfully, this inconvenience hasn’t gone unnoticed by the devs, as they have issued a statement and even an apology gift for those affected! Over on the official Dying Light Discord server, here’s the announcement by the studio:

I’m very sorry for the issues with Bloody Ties DLC launch, our team is fully aware of what caused the delays and we will work hard to prevent this in the future

Hopefully, those affected by the issues are able to play the game soon. Good thing the studio’s on the ball when it comes to communicating with the player base.
