In late March, Franchise Director Tymon Smektala revealed that Dying Light 2’s upcoming update would include “significant improvements” to the game’s combat system, making it more visceral and rewarding. Additionally, a gear transmog system was also promised for inclusion in the same update. This “Gut Feeling” update will be detailed in a new developer stream on April 20 at 2pm ET/11am PT/8pm CST/2am HKT, alongside the release of the update on the same day.
While Smektala also gave fans a sneak peek at the game’s upcoming story DLC while announcing the Gut Feeling update, Techland has made no mention of it in the new announcement. Fans can still expect that further DLC details will be announced soon if not in the developer stream, which will go live on the official Techland Twitch channel and can be co-streamed freely.
