Dying Light 2 Update 1.40 for October 4 Brings Store Changes, Bug Fixes
Techland has released Dying Light 2 update 1.40 (PS5 version 1.040), which is for patch 1.12.2 that PC players got over a week ago. Read on for everything new in the official DL2 patch notes for October 4.

EULA Changes
We’ve made a few changes to our EULA related to mods, which should make the rules more clear for our modding community. We’ve removed “mods” from the “Cheating” section, and introduced a new paragraph in section 17. “User Generated Content”:
“You may create and distribute mods for the Program, as long as your mods comply with the Techland Mod Policy. Techland Mod Policy is available at https://techland.net/upload/Techland_Modpolicy.pdf”
In-Game Store
- We’ve added a new 100 DL Points pack as the earliest available form of response to your feedback.
Bug fixes
- Fixed instances when the “Community Maps” tab would freeze for some time after accessing it.
- Fixed stutter and unwanted pop-up windows when changing Gamma settings while in game.
- Fixed stutter when hovering over City Alignment benefits in the menu.
- Fixed stutter when hovering over Tools in the Inventory menu.
- Fixed graphical alignment of installed mods on Mercenary Machete.
- Fixed an exploit when a player could pick up the same inhibitor twice after defeating a GRE Anomaly while playing in co-op.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when accessing an old save file on PS4 and PS4 Pro.
- Fixed the performance issue of the Skip Prologue video on PS4 and PS4 Pro, when using the feature from the Pause Menu.

This is so shit every bug you guys mention it’s like I still fucking have it it’s like my PS4 is not getting the updates and I am looking at the latest version right now and my game is still buggy as fuck I can’t hit enemies without the completely breaks and their animations are fucking shit bc there lagging every five seconds I can’t pull out my glider properly ever even when it’s supposed to be the literal point of the mission part like I don’t understand how you guys fuck up a game this bad and not even have an fps counter I mean did you guys genuinely not give a flying fuck when making this it’s rushed and not even close to making me feel like I did before playing this game I bought the gold edition for crying out loud and you guys have failed on literally every single metric I hope all your family die young and I hope you never talk to a single company to make this shit of a game like this again unfucking believable
