The release of Dying Light: The Beast is almost upon us, as we are just a few short weeks away from the next Dying Light adventure. While there’s much to be excited about, those who played Dying Light 2, or are jumping into the franchise for the first time, may want to make sure their PC is capable of running Dying Light: The Beast, as the PC specs are rather demanding this time around.

Compared to Dying Light 2, where an RTX 3080 was the required GPU to run the game at Ultra presets and with ray-tracing, the new title is going to require at least an RTX 5070 with frame-generation enabled to achieve 60 FPS with ray-tracing. Though don’t take that as the “definite” requirement, as these are more of a baseline, and cards that are equivalent, or more powerful (but older gen, such as the RTX 4090) should be able to run the game at 4K 60 FPS Ultra.

Still, the game does look pretty demanding based on these specs, so it’s better to be prepared going into it.

As for console players, we’re expecting to see both a quality and performance mode, with the PS5 Pro likely making use of PSSR based on statements from the game’s director last year.

Dying Light: The Beast launches on September 18, 2025, on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
