Elden Ring Preload Live for Xbox Series and Xbox One Owners

We are just 10 days away from the release of Elden Ring, and while that wait may feel like an eternity, there is some at least some good news for Xbox gamers, as the Elden Ring preload is now available to Xbox Series and Xbox One owners.

For those who have pre-ordered Elden Ring on the Xbox storefront, you’ll be happy to know that you can officially start preloading Elden Ring 10 days before release. The preload went live earlier today, and while we are unsure if this includes the day one patch, we do know that the size is roughly 49GB, depending on which generation of console you plan to play on.

As for those who plan on buying Elden Ring physically, the good news is that you can also preload so that the game will be ready to play as soon as you pop in the disc. To do this, all you have to do is download the Xbox App on either an iPhone or Android device, sign-in, and pair search for Elden Ring. You should see the the “Download to Console” option.

And there you go. Physical buyers will have the game preloaded on their system, ready to launch as soon as they get home. Not bad, right?

As for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 users, you will need to wait until February 22/23 in order to begin preload. This option will only be available to those who have pre-ordered Elden Ring from the PlayStation Store for PlayStation owners.

Elden Ring will officially launch February 25 for the PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. We’ll have a review up hopefully not long after, so stay tuned!
