Flying Wild Hog and Focus Entertainment have released an Evil West gameplay overview trailer that covers the game’s story background and explosive gameplay featuring a variety of both melee and ranged combat options. The game is set for a November 22 release, having gone gold earlier this month.

Evil West is an upcoming genre-bending where vampiric mythology meets the Wild West. The game follows Jesse Rentier, heir to his father’s vampire-hunting Rentier Institute as he fights to protect the American frontier from legions of supernatural horrors.

Jesse has a range of weapons and abilities at his disposal to take on all kinds of vampiric foes. The Rentier Gauntlet allows him to engage in devastating, fast-paced close-quarters combat with various attack options, while shotguns, rifles, pistols, and even flamethrowers create useful opportunities to demolish enemy hordes at a distance. Upgrades and Perks allow Jesse to unlock new skills and improve the destructive power and efficiency of his existing arsenal. Ultimately, players will have to experiment thoroughly to discover the most effective combat approach for Evil West’s wide variety of terrifying monsters.

Evil West goes live on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One on November 22. The Evil West Signature Edition, a Focus Entertainment Store exclusive product limited to 50 copies, is available for pre-order now. It includes a numbered laminated wooden frame printed with an exclusive artwork by artist Gabz, a physical copy of the game with the Focus exclusive box art, and the Wild Wild East Skin Pack DLC.
