The Official Evo 2024 lineup has been unveiled, and it’s looking really good for the Ultimate Fighting Game Tournament this year. Games on the roster include returning classics like Guilty Gear Strive as well as first-time appearances from Tekken 8 and Mortal Kombat 1.
The complete lineup was revealed earlier today on the official Evo website. According to the news post, half of this year’s eight games are returning titles, while the other four are making their Evo debut in 2024. Here’s the complete list of featured fighting games:
- Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising (1st Appearance)
- Guilty Gear -Strive- (3rd Appearance)
- The King of Fighters XV (3rd Appearance)
- Mortal Kombat 1 (1st Appearance)
- Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike (7th Appearance)
- Street Fighter 6 (2nd Appearance)
- Tekken 8 (1st Appearance)
- Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes (1st Appearance)
Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike has a special legacy, having appeared at Evo six times previously. With it returning to the roster, an entirely new generation of fighting game players will have a chance to prove their strength on the community’s biggest stage.
This year’s Evo Champions will also be awarded trophies and medals, as well as a portion of a $30,000 USD minimum guaranteed prize pool per tournament. The money is to be split between the top 8 finalists of each title. The stakes have never been higher!
Evo 2024 will run from July 19-21, 2024 at the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Tickets are currently available at this link. While the exact schedule for the event has yet to be announced, we’ll be sure to let players know the second we hear more.
