FIFA 20 Update 1.20 Kicks Out

fifa update 1.20

While PC players got the latest FIFA 20 patch since last week, console gamers (PS4 and Xbox One) are just getting it today. EA Vancouver calls this FIFA 20 patch #16, but console gamers will see this as FIFA 20 update 1.20. Check out the full notes below.

FIFA 20 update 1.20 patch notes:

General
Made the following change:

  • Added a Connection Monitoring option in Settings.
    1. This option enables the display of certain information regarding your connection while in an online match.
    2. This option is currently only available to a select group of players while we gather feedback and tune the associated values. We will communicate our plans for releasing this to a wider audience when more information is available.
    3. All other players will see this option as greyed out, and will not be able to toggle it on at this time.

Visuals
Made the following change:

  • Updates to multiple kits and tifos.

Addressed the following issues:

  • Scrolling line ups were not correctly displaying names.
  • In VOLTA FOOTBALL, the avatar’s saved customizations were not displayed in some cases.

These are all the changes in FIFA update 1.20 as far as we know, but if there’s more included that’s not in it, we’ll update the post.

For those interested in the franchis’s future, make sure to keep an eye out on the site as EA will be hosting its digital games presentation — EA Play — this year in June. While no games have been confirmed to be in it so far, we’d be surprised if there’s no mention of FIFA 21 in the presentation.
