Square Enix has announced that it will be hosting a weeklong livestream event for Final Fantasy 14 at the “Mogchute Farm” in order to celebrate the upcoming Island Sanctuary update, which is a new type of solo content releasing in Patch 6.2 on August 26. The Final Fantasy 14 weeklong livestream kicks off today and will be going until Friday, August 19 at 8 am EST / 1 pm BST / 5 am PST / 8 pm HKT.

The event will allow viewers to experience life on a farm as they look forward to the release of Island Sanctuary. Island Sanctuary will allow players to build and customize their own farms on an island paradise with a lot of wildlife. Players can gather materials, build facilities, care for creatures, and more without the need of prior experience in crafting or gathering.

In the livestream, there will be several different farmyard favorites featured including pigs, goats, chickens, and other surprises throughout the week. Viewers can follow the daily routine of feeds, festivities, frolics, and will also be able to vote on what animals should be fed during the livestream. The streams will take place each day at the following times:

  • 9:15am BST / 4:15am EST / 1:1 am PST / 4:15pm HKT – 9:30am BST / 4:30am EST / 1:30am PST / 4:30pm HKT
